Privacy Policy
OUR PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy explains how AbuData ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you access or use our website, www.abudata.co (the “Site”), and when you engage with our consultancy services in web development, app development, and designing (collectively, the “Services”). If you have any questions about our practices, please contact us at info@abudata.co.
1. What Information We Collect
Personal Information You Provide to Us
We collect personal information that you provide directly to us when you:
- Contact us through our Site or email
- Engage our Services for consultancy
- Participate in any activities or communications related to our Services
This information may include:
- Name
- Contact details (e.g., email address, phone number)
- Payment details (only as necessary for transactions and invoicing)
We do not process sensitive information, such as health data or government identifiers. Payment information, if collected, is used solely for transaction purposes and is processed securely.
2. How We Process Your Information
We use the information collected for various purposes, such as:
- Providing and managing our Services
- Responding to inquiries and offering customer support
- Processing payments for Services
- Measuring how our Site is used: Vercel Analytics, which sets no cookies, counts page views on every visit, and Google Analytics measures visits only if you accept analytics cookies (see section 4)
- Sending relevant communications and updates, including marketing (with your consent)
3. When and With Whom We Share Your Personal Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. However, we may share your information in limited situations, such as:
- With Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist in operating our Site or conducting our business.
- Analytics: Vercel Analytics counts page views without cookies, and Google Analytics receives technical usage data only with your consent; neither receives anything you type into the contact form. How both work is set out in section 4.
- Contact form: when you send the contact form, Resend, Inc. (United States) delivers your name, email address and message to our inbox, and Vercel Inc., which hosts this Site, uses Vercel BotID to check, from technical signals sent by your browser, that the form was sent by a person and not by an automated program. To limit spam, Upstash, Inc. (United States) keeps short-lived counters of how many messages each connection has sent; they are stored under a one-way hash, never as your name, email address, message or IP address, and expire automatically within 24 hours. We run these checks on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of abuse. Sending the form does not add your address to any mailing list.
- Business Transfers: In case of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the new entity.
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required to do so by law.
4. Cookies and Analytics
Google Analytics does not run on this Site until you choose Accept in the cookie notice. If you choose Reject, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it never loads, and the Site works exactly the same. Vercel Analytics sets no cookies and is not part of that choice: it counts every visit. We use these two services:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, with Google LLC as its processor), only if you choose Accept, to see which pages are visited, for how long and from which general region. It sets two cookies on this Site: _ga, which tells one browser’s visits apart, and _ga_<ID>, which keeps the current session. Both expire after 13 months. Google Signals and all advertising features are switched off, so the data is not used for advertising or linked to a Google account, and Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
- Vercel Analytics (Vercel Inc.), on every visit, to count page views. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, which is why it runs without asking. With each page view it records the page, the referring site, your approximate location and the type of device, operating system and browser, and it counts visits using a hash of the request that is discarded within 24 hours, so it cannot recognise you on a later day. We see only totals.
Legal basis, transfers and your choice
- Legal basis: Google Analytics runs only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, and the consent requirements of Oman’s Personal Data Protection Law, Royal Decree 6/2022). Vercel Analytics rests on our legitimate interest in knowing how many people use the Site and which pages help them (Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation); because it identifies no one and stores nothing on your device, it does not depend on the cookie notice.
- International transfers: both services may process this data in the United States. Google LLC and Vercel Inc. are certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and both use standard contractual clauses where that framework does not apply.
- Withdrawing consent: you can change your answer about Google Analytics at any time by choosing Cookie settings at the foot of any page. If you withdraw, Google Analytics stops at once and its cookies are deleted from this Site. Withdrawing does not affect measurement that took place before. It covers Google Analytics only: Vercel Analytics stores nothing on your device and keeps counting visits.
- Your choice is kept in your browser’s local storage for 12 months, after which we ask again. It is not a cookie and is never sent to us.
- Strictly necessary cookie: NEXT_LOCALE, set by this Site, records whether you are using the English or Arabic version, so the Site can answer in your language (for example, when you send the contact form). It expires 12 months after your last visit, holds nothing else, and needs no consent.
- Embedded map: where the footer shows our office on a Google Map, the map is embedded from Google Maps. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s Privacy Policy.
We do not add advertising or social media tracking to this Site. For how to control cookies in your browser, see our Cookie Policy below.
5. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. When there is no ongoing legitimate business need to process your information, we will securely delete or anonymize it. Messages sent through the contact form are kept in our email inbox only as long as we need them to answer your enquiry and to follow up on any work that results from it. The anti-spam counters described in section 3 expire within 24 hours.
6. How We Keep Your Information Safe
We use industry-standard measures to protect your personal information, including encryption and secure data storage practices. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no electronic transmission or storage method is 100% secure.
7. Do We Collect Information from Minors?
Our Services are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at info@abudata.co, and we will take prompt action to delete it.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, including consent to Google Analytics, at any time through Cookie settings at the foot of any page

COOKIE POLICY
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on this Site. We use one strictly necessary cookie to remember your language version, and Google Analytics cookies only if you accept them in the cookie notice (see section 4 above); Vercel Analytics sets no cookies. We do not use cookies for advertising or social media features, and we do not share data about your use of the Site with advertising or social media partners.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device to make interactions with websites smoother and more efficient.
The law permits us to store cookies on your device if they are strictly necessary for the functionality of this site. For all other types of cookies, we require your permission: analytics cookies are set only after you choose Accept in the cookie notice, and you can change your answer at any time under Cookie settings at the foot of any page.
Your consent applies to the following domain: https://www.abudata.co/
ENABLING AND DISABLING COOKIES
When you first visit, the cookie notice lets you accept or reject analytics cookies, and you can change your answer at any time by choosing Cookie settings at the foot of any page. Rejecting them does not limit anything you can do on this Site. You can also block cookies in your browser settings (check your browser’s help section for instructions); blocking all cookies may limit how some websites work.
DELETING COOKIES
Most cookies have a set expiration date, which means they automatically expire after a certain time. However, you can manually delete cookies before their expiration. For instructions, please refer to your browser’s manual. If you withdraw analytics consent under Cookie settings, this Site deletes its Google Analytics cookies for you.

Our website may contain links to external sites. This privacy and cookie policy does not apply to these third-party websites. We cannot guarantee how these third parties will handle your data, so we recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any sites you visit.
